3 more days until Adopt the Internet Day!

As I blogged about the other day, PetFinder’s Adopt the Internet Day is coming!! The thought of all a whole, world-wide day dedicated to finding homes for shelter pets makes me want to skip through a field of daisies, sing at the top of my lungs, and basically act like an 8 year old girl. Squeeeeeeeeeeee!

Of course, the day to day reality of homeless pets and the shelters that care for them is not all rainbows and unicorns (PUPPIES! KITTIES! Squeeeeeee!—oops sorry, I just can’t contain the excitement). I know a lot of my blog readers have already adopted, fostered, and donated--but that’s why the take-over of the internets is such a genius plan! It gives us a chance to pass it on, again and again. So, once again, I couldn’t wait to start the party (like asking a 5 year old to sit still after they find out they are going to Disney World). There is still 3 more days until PetFinder’s Adopt the Internet Day, but I am sure there plenty of homeless pets that need a little extra boost to find their forever homes.
